Last February, the school building was handed over to the community of Lui Parish. The children are taught, there are teachers, there are toilets. However, not everything is quite as it should be.
Renovation St. Veronica Chapel Uganda
This project concerns the renovation of the St. Veronica Chapel in a small town in Adjumani District, Chiforo Sub-County, West Nile, Uganda.
The roof of the St. Veronica Chapel (church) was destroyed by a severe storm in December 2018. This happened during prayer on a Sunday morning. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the building has been unusable ever since. The building next to it is small and very dark. With the help of SWCC (our local partner) we have realized a new roof and the chapel has been completely renovated. The chapel was festively opened on 13 February 2023. Jaco van Maaren from our foundation was allowed to cut the ribbon!
In the coming months we want to contribute to the purchase of the interior of this chapel. Help the people of this small community in Uganda!
