St. Mark School in Wau

The St. Mark school is a small school with about 30 students. The school is located in Wau, in the north of South Sudan.

African Mission works in Wau together with Bishop Elia of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Khartoum & South Sudan. Bishop Elijah is from Egypt and has taken the fate of the children of Wau to heart. The St. Mark School is built with simple materials; wood, zinc (corrugated iron), and reed. All in all cheap and fast, but in such a way that the children of Wau can get lessons in the shade.

Website for Lui Hospital

The Lui Hospital (Health Sciences Institute) is, besides the hospital in the capital Juba, the only major hospital in the east of South Sudan. African Mission, together with Pixel Creation, has created a website for this important hospital.

Ceilings Boschetti School

We would like to install ceilings in the classrooms of the Pietro Boschetti School. Ceilings serve as insulation for both sound and temperature.

The Dam Project – Lui

The Dam Project was set up by the government in 2011-2012, just south of Lui. There is a lot in the 2013-2020 war destroyed unfortunately. How is it now?
