Today the drilling was done for water. Water has been tapped at a depth of 115 m. It went without any problems, thanks to the good geological research of CUAMM, the underground rocks were avoided.
The WASH project in Juba was set up by AID England. African Mission has participated in this project.
It is a so-called ‘community based’ project. This means that all ideas must come from the community itself. Leida Kruidhof has visited several times as a volunteer from African Mission to support the people of the Trumpeters with training. Our foundation has contributed to this project for over two years. We have distributed water filters and supported other small-scale initiatives.
