This week, the school furniture was sent by truck from the capital Juba to the Pietro Boschetti school in Lui. We hope to be able to install the furniture in the third week of November. Before the 2013 civil war, this kind of hardwood furniture was made in Lui itself. Unfortunately, the carpenter’s workshop was completely destroyed by the violence of war. There are currently no possibilities in Lui to manufacture the furniture locally. In any case, we are happy and grateful that we were able to find a furniture maker in Juba and that we finally succeeded in transporting them to Lui.
