Emergency appeal from South Sudan: Help us with internet and emergency aid for flood victims
We recently received an urgent appeal from Bishop Stephen Dokolo of Lui, South Sudan. He wrote to us with a double request for help!
Internet access for Lui
The church and community in Lui are facing significant internet access challenges. Reliable connectivity is essential for communication, education, and coordination of aid projects. Currently, however, this is practically impossible. The cost of purchasing the necessary equipment, transportation, installation, and the first year’s service fees is $2,000 (approximately €1,900). This amount would ensure that the church and community in Lui are reconnected and can collaborate effectively with partners at home and abroad.
Emergency aid for flood victims
We also received alarming news about the situation in Yeri, Dari, and Lessi. Severe flooding has left more than 12,000 families homeless. These families urgently need food and shelter. Without immediate assistance, many of them are at risk of serious hardship.
